Intermediate

Grades 7-8
Faith & Purpose

In the intermediate years, students are encouraged to deepen their faith and understanding of God’s Word while preparing for the transition to high school. Learning is grounded in a biblical worldview that encourages intentional reflection and personal growth. Students are given opportunities to use their learning to make a positive impact in their communities and are prepared to serve others with confidence and purpose.

Knowledge & Thinking

Students are challenged with more advanced learning, adding new subject areas including Band, Drama, History and Geography. Their skills in reading, writing, and mathematics are strengthened while developing critical thinking and problem-solving abilities. They have many real-life experiences within the surrounding community to implement what they have learned and contribute in a positive way to the world around them.

Leadership & Character

Intermediate students are equipped to grow as confident learners, thoughtful leaders and active contributors to their communities. Through meaningful field trips, hands-on service projects, a variety of sports teams and collaborative learning experiences, students connect classroom learning to the real world while developing leadership, responsibility, communication and problem-solving skills.
