Admissions at
Dunnville Christian School

Choosing Christian education is an exciting and meaningful step for your family. At Dunnville Christian School, we are a welcoming, Christ-centered community where staff, students, and families work together to provide a strong and supportive educational experience. We would love the opportunity to walk alongside you as you explore whether DCS is the right fit for your child.

Our admissions process is designed to be simple and personal

1. Book a Visit
The best way to experience DCS is in person. During your visit, you’ll meet with us, tour the school, be introduced to your child(ren)’s potential teacher(s), and have the chance to ask questions. You’ll also receive a Welcome Package with helpful information.

2. Apply
Complete and submit all required documents from the Application Package provided during your visit.

3. Admission Interview
Once your application is received, we will schedule a meeting between your family and representatives of the DCS Society.

4. Approval
Your application will be presented to the DCS Board. You will be notified of their decision, and if approved, we will guide you through the registration process.

A community built on faith and involvement

One of our core values at Dunnville Christian School is to nurture a “God-honouring Community.” This means that our goal for our students is to learn to reflect the love of Jesus in how we interact, develop our school culture and resolve conflicts.

Our value of community is built on a deep-rooted legacy of volunteerism. Since before DCS began, parents, grandparents and other supporters have sacrificially given of their time, efforts and skills to ensure our school continues to thrive.

As more and more Christian schools move towards a “per student” tuition structure, Dunnville Christian School is proud of our ability to still offer the family tuition rate. This strengthens our community spirit through valuing the family as a unit. We depend on volunteers and fundraising to keep tuition affordable. It deepens our shared connection as we are all called to work together for the sake of our children’s Christ-centred education.

Community is a key area of focus for our current strategic plan for this very reason. It states: “Understanding that a connected and committed school community is essential in keeping quality, Christian education sustainable and effective, we will clearly communicate our purpose, values and expectations, foster connections between past, present and future community members, and promote a culture of volunteerism and service.”
