Our Junior students are growing in confidence as learners, developing independence and taking greater responsibility for their work. These years help students begin to take ownership of their learning in meaningful ways through involvement in Leadership Teams that help with various jobs at DCS.

Social Studies and Science replace Creation Studies at this level, providing a more in-depth and specific approach to learning. Through engaging lessons, collaborative activities, and hands-on experiences, students strengthen foundational skills while staying curious and motivated. Learning is active, purposeful, and connected to real-life understanding.

Rooted in a Christ-centred foundation, students are encouraged to deepen their faith, develop a Biblical worldview, and live out Christian values in the way they learn, serve, and interact with others. Through meaningful field trips and service opportunities, students are inspired to consider how they can make a positive impact in their communities and beyond.
